New York Dem appears to take swipe at Ilhan Omar over anti-Semitic controversy, denies talking about colleague
Rep. Eliot Engel, D-N.Y., said on a podcast last week that leftist extremists aren’t “his cup of tea” when it comes to their stance on Israel, a comment some interpreted as a jab at his Democratic colleagues Reps. Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib who have both come under fire in recent weeks for comments deemed anti-Semitic.
