California leads latest lawsuit against Trump’s ‘public charge’ immigration rule



California and three other states filed a lawsuit Friday that challenges the Trump administration’s so-called “public charge” rule, which strengthens federal officials’ ability to deny green cards to immigrants who rely on government aid.
